Australian and New Zealand Ministers responsible for food regulation met on Friday 15 November to discuss a number of food regulation and policy issues. The Ministers considered the Health Star Rating system five year review report and supported the majority of recommendations, noting some further work is required.

A response paper outlining the Ministers’ decisions in detail will be published on the Health Star Rating website within the coming weeks. An implementation plan for the agreed changes will be considered in early 2020. More information is available on the Food Regulation website.
