Communication to support Health Star Rating system awareness and understanding has been delivered regularly since 2014. The main objectives of communication are to:
- Increase consumer knowledge about how to use the Health Star Rating system, so they make healthier choices when purchasing fresh and packaged foods
- Show how healthier packaged food options can be incorporated into a balanced diet
- Educate consumers about how to compare products in the same category.
