Health Star Ratings are a quick and easy way to compare the nutritional profile of similar packaged foods. 

The Health Star Ratings range from ½ to 5 stars. The more stars, the healthier the choice.

Health Star Ratings are calculated using strict guidelines. The rating is calculated by food manufacturers then displayed on the front label of packaged foods.

You should compare similar products when using the Health Star Rating system. For example, you can compare a yoghurt to another yoghurt, but you cannot compare a yoghurt to a bag of chips.
